I feel like a bit of Abba coming on…
Happy New Year everyone! It’s been a few days since I last posted and I’m trying to ease myself back into it slowly.
In the mean time I’ve had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and it’s 2013 already.
We spent Christmas as a family at home and the kids were so excited opening their presents on Christmas Day.
We didn’t get any snow but we had everything else that the family Christmas brings with it; eating far too much, watching lots of TV and playing with all the kids’ new toys.
No time to rest on my laurels though as we travelled down to England to spend time with friends to bring in the New Year.
My word, we had a fantastic New Year’s Eve party. Plenty to eat and drink again and Just Dance 4 for the Wii; what a combination!
There were lots of people all ages there and we even a Dance-off link up by Facetime to another New Year’s party in Wales.
Up until 3 am, the kids woke up at 6 am and then we drove back to Scotland at 10 am. It all finished too quickly. My glass was also a non-alcoholic one on New Year’s Eve because we were driving back. We had a wonderful time.
My wife then travelled back down to England for a conference over the past couple of days and only returned today. A sleepover last night for my son means he’s really tired today and a little grumpy!
It’s been a tiring few days for everyone really. We need another holiday!
So apart from all that, I’ve done very little to my blog or spent any time visiting other blogs and I need to get back to it.
I actually did do some work over the holiday period though, honest.
I’ve been reading Steve Scott’s website with great enthusiasm over the past few weeks and really like the Kindle eBooks he’s producing.
So I got hold of his latest eBook Your First $1000 – How To Start An Online Business That Actually Makes Money and I’m following it by the letter.
If you didn’t get hold of it over the holiday period as a special offer, you can get it by using the (affiliate) links below:
I’ve set up my first niche website and I’m really excited about it. I’m working through the book and we’ll see what happens!
I’ll report back in a few weeks time when I’ve produced more material and hopefully seen some results.
Did You Have A Happy New Year?
How was your holiday time? Did you get much work done? Do you have any goals or plans for 2013? What do you hope for this year?
